Prologue
In the world, there are a lot of legendary Pokemon, Rayquaza is one of them. They are mostly isolated from everyone, but there are a few exceptions. Sometimes they find someone who really love them. If the flower of love blossoms, it will probably lead to children. This happened when Rayquaza met Elena, a human.
Chapter 1
Saria awoke with the first sunlight of the morning.
"Today is the 17th," she thought. It's been two weeks since her father went to Hoenn. He has to go there, because someone had awakened Groudon and Kyogre again, and, as was his duty, he needed to stop them before they destroyed the island in their fight. He promised he would be back soon, but hasnt returned yet.
"Something is not right," she thought. Hoenn wasnt exactly close from Sinnoh, but her father could fly very fast.
After some more thinking, she went downstairs.
"Good morning, dear" Elena said, greeting her "are you hungry?"
"Thanks mom, but Im going to be late for school."
"You wont be able to learn anything if your belly is empty!"
(*sigh*) "Okay
"
After she finished eating her breakfast, she picked up her backpack and went outside, taking off.
Even though pokemon and half-pokemon tried, there were some humans at school that hated them. They said that humans were the only ones with rights to go to school, and that pokemon and half-pokemon should be treated like the animals they were and be kept in pokeballs. They bullied little kids, them not able to use moves yet. Most of the teachers didnt care about that, saying it was the pokemons fault, putting their children in schools and contaminating our species. They didnt do that to Saria when she was little, because they feared that Rayquaza would come seeking revenge for his daughter. They did that once when she entered the school, but when Rayquaza came, simply the sight of his enormous body sent the bullies crying for their mothers. If Elena wasnt there, he would have done worse things to them. School was a battlefield at times.
But that was years ago, and school was now a better place to live. The first generation of pokemon and half-pokemon in school were older now, and they acted like protectors for the younger ones. Saria made friends at school, unfortunately none of them were human. They were Lisa the Anthro Raichu, Gaen the Blaziken and Mana the Anthro Ninetales. There was also Felipe, a little Larvitar.
Sometime after school, when they were going to Manas house to study for a test, they heard someone calling for them.
"So where are you wimps going?" he said.
"None of your business, Oreon." Gaen answered
Oreon was a half-pokemon, his mother being a Luxray. He said her mother gave him the name Oreon because it inspire power. He was bulky and physically strong, but was terrible with moves. In the past, he bullied Gaen, but now he was way taller than him, and had learned Earthquake, so he never dared to challenge him.
"Thats so not nice of you, wimp. Careful, I have humans friends now, and they could put all of you in a pokeball."
"They wouldnt without a fight. Besides, I, Lisa and Mana are immune to pokeball storage, because were half human" Saria replied
"But your friend here and the little green thing arent. Just throw one and theyre trapped" Oreon said, with a triumphant look.
"Careful who you call little green thing, Felipe will be way tougher than you when he grows up" Lisa countered.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Youre just jealous that Im in the best position now."
Without warning, Saria shot a Hyper Beam at Oreon. He was caught of guard, and flew 100 meters before landing on the grass outside the school. Mostly humans were going to help Oreon and cursed Saria for what she did. But all the others, including some humans, were cheering and saying that was a nice shot, he deserved it, that kind of stuff.
"He is lucky I didnt charge that," she said.
"Okay people, lets go before we get in trouble" said Mana, her voice as always, calm.
"Yeah, you brats run! When Oreon gets up, he will crush you!"
Saria turned. It was a human. Why did they support him? Oreon was a jerk, and the guy who yelled was one of the anti-pokemon. How were they on the same side?
"You shut up, hes no match for us! He was sent flying just now by an uncharged Hyper Beam!" Gaen yelled back to the human.
"Gaen, stop. Hes just jealous, lets go" Mana said, trying to calm him.
They led Felipe home, then headed for Manas house. By the time they reached it, Gaen was still muttering about how idiotic humans can be. Mana opened the door. There was a corridor that led left to what appeared to be the kitchen, and on the right to the living room. There was stairs leading to the second floor at the end of the corridor.
"Dad, Im home!" she shouted.
"Hmm, I smell three more with you" a voice replied "Who are they?"
"Did you forget? I said my friends were coming here to study for the math test."
"Oh yeah! Sorry dear, I totally forgot about that."
From the living room appeared a male Ninetales. Every time Saria looked at him, she saw wisdom of a very long life.
"Hi Mr Lucian!" said Lisa "How are you?"
"Hello Lisa. Thanks for asking, Im feeling really good today."
"Hey dad," Mana asked "Moms still working?"
"Yes, she says that shes working more for extra cash for our vacation."
"So," Gaen asked "youre really going to stay at that fancy hotel near Lake Valor?"
"Yeah, and
"
"Wait!" Mana shouted "Can they go with us?"
"Well, I dont know," replied her father "havent their parents already planned something?"
"My father isnt here, he told me he sensed that Kyogre and Groudon have awakened, and will start fighting each other, so he went to Hoenn to stop them." - said Saria - "And my mother is too worried about him to think about vacation
"
"Thats a bad excuse!" Lisa taunted
"Ha-ha-ha
"
"Im free," said Gaen "my parents are going in a kind of second honeymoon around the world
"
"Hmm," said Lisa "I dont know, my mom was talking about going to somewhere on the mountains. But I dont want to miss a vacation with my best friends. Im going to tell her she can turn her trip on a more romantic one and do stuff with my dad."
"People, lets study!" Lucian called, remembering them what they where there for.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Cmon, to my room guys!" Mana said, calling her friends.
After lots of study and laughing at Gaen for not knowing what was going to be on the test, they went downstairs to watch some movies. Hours later, they bid farewell to Mana and Lucian, and each of them went to their home. Saria was still worried about her father, imaging what was he doing now, if he was okay and if the awakening of Groudon and Kyogre was someones plot to catch her father. The thought sent a chill through her spine. Thats ridiculous!. The defeat of team Aqua and team Magma by that unknown trainer served as advise to anyone with thoughts of catching legendary pokemon. Dont think about that!" she said to herself "Think about the test tomorrow! You cant help him, so concentrate on what you can do!.
Saria didn't know that she would never wrote the test.
